I’m just going to keep doing these until someone tells me to stop.
Also, I really want to see Tom Hiddleson as an adult Muad’Dib in Dune Messiah…

Thank you everyone for the positive feedback for my first GO cover - I can’t believe it got posted to Neil Gaiman’s tumblr! That pretty much made my week. I’ve decided to push my luck (you have no idea how many of these characters I have cast in my head). I tried to keep as much of the clean look from the first as I could, and although I don’t like it quite as much - let’s face it, you can’t beat the sexiness of Tennant/Law - I think it came out rather well.
Christina Hendricks as War, Andrew Scott as Famine, Tom Felton as Pollution, and the voice of Bill Nighy someone as Death. This movie has need of an extraordinarily large number of epic voices, hmmm….

A lot of people have been throwing around posters for their dream casting of Good Omens, and there’s a few (Hiddles/Cumby!) that I really like, but when my flatmate and I were reading GO, we mentally both cast David Tennant and Jude Law as Crowley and Aziraphale, respectively. With that in mind, here is my submission for dream casting.
Artist Barry Underwood photographs wonderfully mysterious light installations that he installs on-site in forests, mountainsides, or near lakes and rivers. Via his artist statement:
By reading the landscape and altering the vista through lights and photographic effects, I transform everyday scenes into unique images. Light and color alter the perception of space, while defamiliarizing common objects. Space collapses, while the lights that I install appear as intrusions and interventions. This combination renders the forms in the landscape abstract. Inspired by cinema, land art, and contemporary painting, the resulting photographs are both surreal and familiar. They suggest a larger narrative, and yet that narrative remains elusive and mystifying.
You can see much more in his portfolio.
